Who We are

1 Corinthians 1:17-18

“For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel,

not in cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be made void.

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,

but to us who are being saved

it is the power of God.”

The Five Solas—The essentials of Christianity

Sola Scriptura—Scripture alone—The Bible alone is our highest authority.

"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."

Second Timothy 3:16-17

Sola Fide—Faith alone—We are saved through faith alone in Jesus Christ.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."

Ephesians 2:8-9

Sola Gratia—Grace alone—We are saved by the grace of God alone.

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)...."

Ephesians 2:4-5

Solus Christus—Christ alone—Jesus Christ alone is our Lord, Savior, and King.

"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12

Soli Deo Gloria—To the glory of God alone—We live for the glory of God alone.

"Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father."

Colossians 3:17
